Pastor lyndel manship

Pastor Lyndel Manship is a native of Southern Indiana born and raised in Orange County. He married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Spencer Manship, in August of 1983. Lyndel and Carolyn are blessed with four children: Lacey, Spencer, Rachel, and Chloe. In addition, they have six grandchildren which they dearly love to spend time with. Chloe, the youngest daughter, was born with special needs and still remains at home with love and care.

Pastor Lyndel felt the calling of ministry early in life. He is an ordained minister of the Wesleyan Church, studied at Bethany Bible College in Dothan, Alabama, where he received his bachelor's degree in theology. Paoli Wesleyan will always hold a very special place in the hearts of Pastor Lyndel and his family as their home church. He began ministering here in the spring of 1996. With patience, prayer, and guidance from the Lord, his ministry truly began in 1985 as the youth leader at the Paoli Wesleyan Church. Other roles included the Sunday School superintendent along with a variety of activities dedicated to the well-being of the church, congregation, and the community.

In the summer of 2006, Pastor Lyndel shared his ministry throughout the Southern Indiana Region. This included: Bloomfield, IN (2006 to 2008); Leipic, IN (2009); Marengo, IN Wesleyan Church (2010 to 2015). In 2015 Pastor Lyndel returned to Paoli Wesleyan church, where he continues to minister today.

Pastor Lyndel feels especially driven to prepare people for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. One of his favorite topics to preach, evangelize, and teach is Bible prophecy. His favorite Bible verse is: Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

 Pastor Lyndel enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, taxidermy, and classic cars in his free time. During the summer on weekends when the weather is nice, you can usually find Pastor Lyndel at one of the local car shows with his 1971 Chevelle SS.
